The Man of THE House.....

The husband had just finished reading a new book entitled,"You Can Be THE Man Of Your House."

He stormed to his wife in the kitchen and announced,
"From now on, you need to know that I am the man of this house and my word is Law. You will prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, and when I'm finished eating my meal,
you will serve me a sumptuous dessert. After dinner, you are going to go upstairs with me
and we will have the kind of sex that I want.
Afterwards, you are going to draw me a bath so I can relax. You will wash my back
and towel me dry and bring me my robe. Then, you will massage my feet and hands.
Then tomorrow, guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair?"

The wife replied, "The fuckin' funeral director would be my first guess."

Jadyn's new bed

As some as you may or may not know or may or may not care Jadyn has slept with me for the past 2 years. We were living in an apartment that wouldn't allow us to get to her if there were a fire. So we let her be comfortable in our bed once she out grew her crib ( that was also in our room).
Well now we have moved to a house and she can have her OWN BIG GIRL room now. So, of course she has to have her own big girl bed. She told me she would like a princess bed. Well LOOK what she is getting:

I think I am just as excited as she is....lol Wer are getting the full size bed because it will grow with her. You can eventually remove all of the princess stuff and add other things. Like a higher lift, a desk, etc etc.

Busy Busy weekend

We had a pretty busy weekend. We bought a used stackable washer and dryer from an older lady. Saturday we went to go pick it up. Thank God for our friend Ann because Sue and I could have never done it by ourselves. The washer and dryer are like brand new. We are so happy to finally NOT have to get quarters to do our laundry. The thing has run non stop since yesterday. I think we might be in love....haha!! We also got a ladder from my dad when we were home last weekend. Ann also helped us take a ton of things up to the attic! Poor Ann, she always get recruited when we need help....lol
Today I spent at least 4 hours in my bedroom putting things away, rearranging and cleaning. We are still a little out of sorts from when we moved here. I feel like I finally made quite a bit of progress around here. I also went outside ad burned a ton of paper and boxes. Jadyn, Moma and Tyson ( the dog) ran around and played in the snow while I was burning boxes.
Although our house still looks like it is quite possible a tornado came through..... we are getting there. We are almost finally all settled in. It sucks moving so close to the holidays. We have had NO time to do anything. I am so glad things are finally looking good :-)

I can't believe people........

I posted on my blogs, craigslist and freecycle asking for measily one yard pieces of fabric to make blankets and quilts for needy sick children. NOT ONE person has stood up to donate 1 yard of child friendly fabric or ONE unused receiving blanket. Not ONE person........ that is sad...... seriously......

Wanted: one yard measurements of fabric

I am in need of one yard measurements of fabric. I need 100% cotton, flannelette, or cotton knits. I am in the process of making things for charities. I thought perhaps if you have any of these fabrics laying around unwanted I will be very very happy to take them.

I also will take any unused receiving blankets.

I am willing to pay the shipping.

Please pass it along!!!

Thanks!!!

I'm not done, I can't be, I am only 32

I keep have reoccurring dreams that I am either pregnant, breastfeeding or have a newborn baby. I have them ALL. THE. TIME. I wake up feeling all happy and fuzzy! Then reality hits. I don't have another. Don't get me wrong. I am so happy I have Jadyn. I am very very very thankful for her.
I NEED another one. I can't give up yet. I am not even at the age where I need to stop yet. I still have 10 years easily to keep trying. Maybe it is time to start trying again? I do KNOW I will not do injections or Invitro again. To expensive and time consuming. Not to mention STRESSFUL!
I am probably crazy to even consider trying again. What if I am wasting my time and money AGAIN? Do I really need the disappointment over and over and over again....again?? Was the psychic right that I would never physically carry my own child again? What if she was right? What if psychics are real? Time can change your future, right? Just because your future is headed one direction at any given time doesn't mean it can't change........right? right??
I must be stupid!

New Years Eve Party

Sue, Jadyn and I had a great time last night. We stayed home. Jadyn and I made chocolate covered strawberries. We also had crackers, cheese, tostitos, salsa and buffalo blue cheese dip. There were also chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter whoopie pies for the sweet tooth in us. Well, more Jadyn and I have the sweet tooth. Sue isn't so big on sweet stuff.
I rented ( pay-per-view) Kung Fu Panda for Jadyn to watch @ about 10:00 p.m. At about 11:30 we started watching the New Year's events on t.v. Jadyn made it until 12:00 to watch the ball drop. Sue served us wine ( sparkling white grape juice) and we brought in the New Year with a "Happy New Year", a cheers, and a kiss. It was rather kind of fun :-)
