Farewell Little Buddy.......

Today Jadyn's favorite friend and play buddy leaves for Europe to live for 1-2 years. His dad got a job over there for a few years. I am glad she doesn't understand but I am sad for her. What am I going to tell her when she wants to go see Rohan? She doesn't quite understand that it just isn't that easy.
Thursday we all got together for a one more time play date. We went to a place called Explore and More. The kids really love it there. Each little area in the front looks like a different country. Then they have an art room, a construction zone, building stuff, a wooden boat with fishing poles and fish, a market, a farm, a kitchen. It is just awesome in there. We sure are going to miss you Rohan :-(

Just because she is so cute :

Tonight at 7:00 we are going to a hockey game. It will be Jadyn's first real hockey game. She is going to LOVE it!! Hopefully she will get to meet Sabretooth :-) They are having an autograph session after the game. We will have to get Jadyn's wee little Jersey autographed.

I also just ordered Jadyn's Wiggles tickets. We are going to see them on October 27th! We got a ticket for "mama" ( grandma) too. We can't wait!

The Great Glass Hunt

We had a very nice weekend. Saturday and Sunday evening both we went for a beach walk in the evening. I LOVE the beach after it has shut down for the season. There is hardly anybody there. Most of the time nobody is there. When I was a kid we used to walk the beach with my Aunt Ruthie and collect the lake glass. It is glass that has been worn down and washed up. It is very smooth. The most common colors are clear, brown and green. You usually get more clear than anything. However, every now and then you are the lucky one and you find a very beautiful sparkly blue piece. The one that finds the blue is the "winner". The winner of what? Who cares..... it's just fun.....
So, anyway, the last two nights we have taken Jadyn to the beach and walked and looked for beach glass. Jadyn actually is suprisingly awesome at finding the clear pieces. She finds them as quick as Sue or I do. We also get down on the sand and look at all the cool little shells we find. We collect a few of those too. Right now, we bring all of our glass home and throw in in a clear bottle. When it is all full we will make something artistic with it.
Well, Saturday evening we played with the metal detector for a little while and then THE GLASS HUNT WAS ON!!!! We really do have a lot of fun looking for that infamous blue piece. Just as we were getting ready to leave Sue starts hooting and hollering. She found the blue one. Well, she gave it to Jadyn to hold and Jadyn dropped it :::::::giggle:::::. No biggie, she still won :-) Sunday we went on the glass hunt for about 1.5 hours. NO blue piece. So, there was no winner lastnight.
On the way home we stopped at Dairy Queen for some yummy treats :-) Sue got a Peanut Buster Parfait. Jadey got a Hot Fudge Sunday with rainbow sprinkled. I got a Cookie Dough Blizzard and I brought a Cookie Dough Blizzard home for Dan too. We were pretty tuckered out by bedtime.
Here is a collage I made of a few of our sunset photos :-)

Consult October 1st with the RE

I have an appointment to go see the RE on October 1st. I had 3 unsuccessful tries with the same donor as Jadyn with two of the tries being on injections. I don't really know what the hell the problem is here. So, since I am out of the same donor as Jadyn I am going to see if maybe I can go back to the way I conceived Jadyn. If that is at all possible. We tried once and I didn't ovulate but I am willing to give it another shot. Something has got to give, right? Which also means.... IF I am trying again I have to go through the whole donor selection process AGAIN! The donor we had picked for Jadyn was just such a perfect match. He was the closest thing to Sue that I could find. So, I have to try to get over that the next donor may not be a "perfect" match to Sue and I. I am sure we will still get another perfect child though :-) I guess we will have to wait and see what October 1st brings us :-)

Spaghetti

Jadyn says the cutest things. She is quite the little pasta freak. She really really loves Spaghetti.
"Jadyn, would you like Spaghetti for lunch?"
" Es, Mommy" ( Yes does not have a Y in her vocabulary....lol)
"Can you say Spaghetti?"
"Gop-a-key"

:::::giggle:::::

God, I Love that kid. I make her say Spaghetti just because it is so damn cute how she says it!!!

Hockey, seizures, keys in trunk.......OH MY!!

Saturday morning we all got up, showered and dressed. We are going to go see the Buffalo Sabres open practice. YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Hockey season is starting. I think that was the longest 3 months of our lives...haha!!! We had a ball. We watched Hockey, took pictures, ate pizza and soft pretzels. It was so nice to just see Hockey again. Here are some photos of the practice:
Ryan Miller ( Goalie )

Maxim Afinigenov:

After practice we went in the Sabres store to look around. I saw Sue come in the store and asked where Dan ( my brother) was. She told me he had been right behind her and he was probably waiting out front. As we are in check out I see an ambulance and fire truck pull up. Sue jokingly says " You better go see if that is you brother"....haha!! Well, I go look and I recognize the shoes, the jersey..... OMG my brother is on the floor with paramedics leaning over him. He apparently had a 3 minute seizure. My brother has NEVER had a seizure disorder. Of course, I was scared to death to see him laying there. He has been through so much crap. He is cleaning up his life and trying to become a better person and all of this stuff just keeps happening to him. So, we sat the rest of the evening in a very busy E.R. They ran a ton of tests and have no idea why he had a seizure. I personally think it is from the concussion he got in his car accident a month ago. So, I have to take him for an EEG and hopefully they have some answers. My mom came up to stay over night too. We got home from the hospital at about 8 or so..... exhausted and tired.

Yesterday ( Sunday ) was Sue's Birthday. We decided we were going to take her to Breakfast. We go to IHOP's and had a very good time. We come out and we say goodbye's to Grandma ( My mom). Ummmmm, she locked her keys in the trunk. Great, now we have to call a Locksmith...... Jadyn didn't mind though, she got more time with Grandma and loved it. They walked around the lawn of IHOP's and collected pine cones. Well, we got my mom on her way home. Jadyn falls asleep in the car. I get her home and lay her down and hope maybe I can lay next to her and take a nap. Ummmm, Nope. Jadyn wants to get up, rip her clothes off and jump up and down on the bed. Okay, I am up...... So, we get up and go to the Sporting goods store. Sue wanted a few things for her to go scavenging with her metal detector....lol I guess she thinks she might find a nickel or dime....lol We went to Red Lobster for dinner and then to Target.

We are walking through Target. Jadyn of course had to go play with every toy in every aisle. We are walking through the kids clothes. We turn around and there stands Jadyn with her shirt off. I was laughing so hard I almost peed myself. She ran from us when we tried to catch her to put her shirt on yelling "No Mommy, No Moma, Monkey". She must have saw a monkey costume or something she thought she was going to put on....lmao It was hilarious.

So, we come home. I am bleeding full force :-( No baby this month. I am pretty bitter and sad. I am jealous of other pregnant women. I hate that some people sleep with the wrong person just one time and have a baby. I had SIX gosh damn eggs this month and NOTHING! I don't get it. I don't know what I did to deserve having such a difficult time. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE my Jadyn and am very very very grateful I have her. Another would be nice though. My heart hurts, but I am tired. I am tired of trying. I am tired of disappointment. I am tired of hundreds and thousands of dollars going to waste. This isn't easy.... not at all.....

Geesh, What a day we had yesterday!!

Everything went quite smoothly until Sue brought home loads of Good Luck...HA HA! Sue comes home and decides we should go to the reservation for her cigarettes. So, we got to the reservation. On the way home we hear this "BANG". I thought for sure we hit something that ran across the interstate although nothing even ran out in front of us...lol We all looked at each other like what the hell and Jadyn's eyes were as big as 50 cent pieces. We get on Lasalle Expressway a few minutes later and we fell bumo bump bump bump...... Oh good, a flat.
We get out of the vehicle...... I get Jadyn and take her away from the car and we go play on the grass beside the road but far enough away that if I see a car about to hit the van that we are safe. The STUPID spare is stuck. It will not come out. We even tried to break the plastic thing that holds it up. So, we monkey with that for well over an hour. By this time Jadyn and I are decorating the guard rail with sidewalk chalk....lol Yes, we were on the "safe" side.
So, I call our friend to bring us fix-a-flat so we can hopefully make it to a gas station and get off of the Highway. In the meantime, some freain Nut Job stops and says "I'll tell you what.....One hand washes the other.....I will get the tire out if you get me some gas." He was one of these people that looked like her washed his hair in cooking oil, hadn't brushed his teeth in atleast a year.I sent him on his way. Ya know, don't stop to be a help if you are just going to want something in return. Asshole!! My friend gets there about 45 minutes later. It is getting cold and dark by this time. The fix-a-flat isn't working. We have a moster hole in the tire. There is an exit about 1/2 mile up the road. So, we pump up the tire as fast as we can, jump in the car and drive to the exit. My friend was going to meet us off of the exit. So we get off and parked. Oh Great, we are outside of a biker bar in a not so great area......lol My friend comes running to our vehicle. She has a fireman coming with a repair kit.
A fireman? Lisa, where the hell did you find a fireman?
She found him in his driveway talking on the cell phone. She says he was in a uniform so she knew he was safe....lmao Well he showed up with a plug kit and got us on our way.
We are happily n our way home with a repaired tire. Some kid, about 20 or so, flies by us screaming vulgarities and his finger was flying. We apparently were not going fast enough ( the spped limit was 45 and Sue was doing 50). Well, the jerk gets stuck at the red light and here we come up on him. Words were flying, fingers going........Dan (my brother) and Sue were lighting in to him. Oh good, Now Jadyn has not only got to experience her first flat where she sat for hours but she also just heard a whole new dictionary..... One I was hoping she might not hear for a little while longer.
By this time it is about 8. Everybody is hungry. We go by KFC get some food and come home. Everybody eats..... everything is going great. Jadyn runs across the living room, face first in to the hardest part of the couch. She of course screams like someone just cut her finger off. I look at her and the bridge of her nose is all swollen and starting to swell over her eyes a little. Poor baby. So, I get her to take some tylenol..... I just had to be out of Motrin. She wouldn't let me put anything cold on it. I will post soe pictures of her "ouchie" later. Her poor little eyes are even a smidge black and blue today. Thank God her nose didn't bleed.

So, guess what we are doing today? We get to go sit at some damn store and wait for tires to be put on my car which could take some people HOURS. I think we will go somewhere that we can go sit and eat lunch while we wait.
Here is Sister's ouchie:

Spit

Why does my child think that I would LOVE to be massaged with spit hands? She keeps spitting in her hands and then she rubs her hands together. She then comes at me like she is about to lotion me....... If not that then she tries to put it in my hair. What a lovely little girl I have.......haha!!!! Please tell me this phase will be over SOON!!!

Jadyn's First Braids

Aren't they the cutest?? She had to show everybody and anybody that would look the first 3 hours that she had them. Of course, by the end of the day they fell out because she kept playing with them.

The Beach and 15 minutes of fame

Yesterday was an extremely hot day. It was in the 90's. Usually this time of year we are in the mid to low 70's. Around 11:00 a.m we decided we were going to go spend some time on the beach ( Lake Erie ). Jadyn has never been swimming at the beach. Usually I take her to a little public swimming pool. She was kind of afraid of the waves but she adjusted in no time :-) She is a water lover, just like her Mommy!!

I was sitting on the Beach taking some pictures of my favorite girls when I heard someone walk up beside me. I turned and there stood a news lady asking me if she could ask a few questions. I made Sue come out of the water and be interviewed by the news crew. Jadyn was on the news for the SECOND time in her life. How cool, huh??

The Hectic Days

I haven't had a whole lot of time to blog lately. My brother came to stay with Sue and I until he can get back on his feet. He has been sober and drug free since he came here. He is doing a lot better but he NEEDS to be put on anti-depressants. I just hope he can get it together. I have been taking him on job searches almost everyday. He wants to go certain places to apply but once we get there he is too nervous or starts to have panic attacks. I just hope he can get some mental help soon. I think that is all that is really holding him back now.

We are set to go in for an insemination Thursday at 9:00. It is our last try with the same donor as Jadyn. If it doesn't take we are going to take atleast a 6 month break. This TTC stuff gets stressful. I have (3) follicles that are atleast 18mm or more. I also have a 15,16 and a 17mm. So, I should have 6 mature follicles at insemination time.

Jadyn is doing Great!! She gets bigger by the day and her vocabulary is exploding. You wake up one day and all of the sudden Jadyn knows 50 more words and 20 new sentences....lol We took her to the National Chicken Wing Fest on Sunday. We had the most yummy Honey Mustard chicken wings. Of course, they are from a restaurant that is probably in Alaska....lol Jadyn also ate some medium wings like they had no spice. I was taking a drink every bite..... No, Not Jadyn..... she just had to put her mommy to shame......
