Spit

Why does my child think that I would LOVE to be massaged with spit hands? She keeps spitting in her hands and then she rubs her hands together. She then comes at me like she is about to lotion me....... If not that then she tries to put it in my hair. What a lovely little girl I have.......haha!!!! Please tell me this phase will be over SOON!!!

Jadyn's First Braids

Aren't they the cutest?? She had to show everybody and anybody that would look the first 3 hours that she had them. Of course, by the end of the day they fell out because she kept playing with them.

The Beach and 15 minutes of fame

Yesterday was an extremely hot day. It was in the 90's. Usually this time of year we are in the mid to low 70's. Around 11:00 a.m we decided we were going to go spend some time on the beach ( Lake Erie ). Jadyn has never been swimming at the beach. Usually I take her to a little public swimming pool. She was kind of afraid of the waves but she adjusted in no time :-) She is a water lover, just like her Mommy!!

I was sitting on the Beach taking some pictures of my favorite girls when I heard someone walk up beside me. I turned and there stood a news lady asking me if she could ask a few questions. I made Sue come out of the water and be interviewed by the news crew. Jadyn was on the news for the SECOND time in her life. How cool, huh??

The Hectic Days

I haven't had a whole lot of time to blog lately. My brother came to stay with Sue and I until he can get back on his feet. He has been sober and drug free since he came here. He is doing a lot better but he NEEDS to be put on anti-depressants. I just hope he can get it together. I have been taking him on job searches almost everyday. He wants to go certain places to apply but once we get there he is too nervous or starts to have panic attacks. I just hope he can get some mental help soon. I think that is all that is really holding him back now.

We are set to go in for an insemination Thursday at 9:00. It is our last try with the same donor as Jadyn. If it doesn't take we are going to take atleast a 6 month break. This TTC stuff gets stressful. I have (3) follicles that are atleast 18mm or more. I also have a 15,16 and a 17mm. So, I should have 6 mature follicles at insemination time.

Jadyn is doing Great!! She gets bigger by the day and her vocabulary is exploding. You wake up one day and all of the sudden Jadyn knows 50 more words and 20 new sentences....lol We took her to the National Chicken Wing Fest on Sunday. We had the most yummy Honey Mustard chicken wings. Of course, they are from a restaurant that is probably in Alaska....lol Jadyn also ate some medium wings like they had no spice. I was taking a drink every bite..... No, Not Jadyn..... she just had to put her mommy to shame......

Yippeee!!!

Usually this is our conversation when I am changing Jadyn's diaper.
""J, Where do you go pee pee?"
" Diaper Mommy"
"Where SHOULD you go pee pee?"
"Potty"
"Do you want to try to sit on the potty?"
"No, No potty Mommy."
I will also take Jadyn in the bathroom with me when I have to go. Ok, who am I kidding? She follows me in there whether I want her to go in there with me or not. She will usually clap when she hears me start peeing and say "Yayyyyy Mommy". I always ask her if she wants to sit on her big girl potty and the answer is always "No potty Mom".
I started noticing about 3 days ago that she has started to stay dry all night and during naps.So, today I asked her out of the blue if she wanted to go sit on her big girl potty and I would let her wear a pair of her Elmo big girl underwear. She says "uh huh". I yelled out of excitement "YOU DO?" She said "Yes Mommy, Potty". She sat there and I even went on the adult potty so she could hear. She of course didn't go but I was so proud she sat there. I did put on her Elmo underwear and about an hour later she pee'd in them. She looked a little worried when she started to go. I told her it was Okay and Now she knows what pee pee feels like. She again sat on the potty and again she didn't go but she sat!! She then made it clear she wanted her diaper....lol I am so proud of her. She still got stamps and some M&M's for trying her hardest :-) I guess we will try a few times a day and see what happens :-)

Jadey and Mommy Day

This morning we took Moma to work. I had a doctors appointment. It was for my baseline U/S and my E2 to see how much Follistim I start tonight. I start out at 150UI and .5cc of Lupron. I do this for 3 days and go in for an E2 check again on Monday.
Then, we came home to get Jadyn some breakfast and make her a bit presentable to the public eye. Of course, she hardly touched her breakfast ( nothing new). In the meantime she had to watch "Mowwy" and drink her "Chocick". Jadyn and I then went to the Boulevard Mall to check out the new Gymboree Line. We put a few things on hold, but now I don't know if I want the stuff. Such a tough decision. We then went down to the food court and had Taco Bell by the Carousel in the kiddie area. Jadyn might have had 2 bite of food and she was ready to go again. The Carousel was playing Wiggles music. Jadyn then of course had to run around the Carousel looking for The Wiggles yelling " Wiggles Wiggles Wiggles" as she wiggles her little hiney around.
I had Jadyn's foot measured at Stride Rite. Her little feet are still just a 6. It seems like for a while every time I turned around her shoes size changed. Now, her feet aren't growing....... Not that I am complaining....lol
Jadyn rode a few of the little kid quarter rides. She has just recently started letting me actually put the money in them so they will move. We STILL have to hold hands though the ENTIRE time the ride is going.
We hung out at the mall for a few hours. Mostly just walking and talking. I only bought one T-shirt for Jadyn that was $4.99. Jadyn fell asleep in the car on the way home. So, I took her to bed when we got home and I had a few moments of Mommy time. Jadey woke up at 2:00. We decided we wanted to go to the playground until we had to leave to pick up Moma at work. We went to the "airplane" playground. They have a huge Navy plane ( yes a real one ) that they closed up, covered with tin and painted it so the kids can play on it. Jadyn had the most fun in the "Poop box". It is actually the sandbox but she insists it is called a "Poop box" no matter how many times you tell her a Poop box is what is at home for the kitties. No wonder she plays in the "sandbox" that is in the house.... lol
We went to Aunt Lisa's house and we took over Chef's for dinner. Now, Jadyn and Moma are gearing down and playing squirt guns in the nice cool tubby.

Yogurt=Lotion?!?!?!

This morning Jadyn and I had to get up and take Moma to work. I was supposed to go do a photo shoot today and Jadyn was going to go have a "playdate" with Aunt Lisa. Well, Once again the weather isn't co-operating so we rescheduled the photo shoot for Monday.
I took Jadyn downstairs to pick out what she wanted for breakfast. After much thought and consideration Jadyn finally decided she wanted "Oh-gee" ( Yogurt). I also gave her some pears. As I am running around the house like a mad woman, like I often do. I hear Jadyn say " Otion (lotion) Mommy, Dadyn do it". There sits my little child grinning ear to ear rubbing "Otion" ( which is actually yogurt) all over her arms and legs. I am telling you if her skin starts to look like a movie stars skin I might start using a little bit of "oh-gee" myself...........
